Kids Summer Program 2026
Kids Summer
Pottery Camp
Five themed worlds, built by hand in clay. No wheels, no pressure, plenty of mess.
Two blocks left this summer
Ten weeks. Five themes. One very messy, very happy summer. Each two-week block is built around its own world to explore in clay — from coral reefs to dragons. Everything is hand-built: drawing the design first, rolling slabs, pressing textures, sculpting and carving. Every piece is fired and glazed in our studio and ready to take home. Sign up for a whole block, or drop in for a single session.
The Five Blocks
Blocks 1 to 3 have finished. Two blocks left this summer.
Block 1 · Under the Sea
Finished21 June – 2 July
Coral reefs, curious octopuses, and treasure from the deep. Kids drew their own sea creatures, rolled slabs, and carved them into tiles glazed in every shade of blue and green.
Block 2 · Wild Animals
Finished5 July – 16 July
From jungle to savanna. Little makers sketched their favourite animals first, then pinched, coiled and sculpted them, learning texture and detail along the way.
Block 3 · Earth Artists
Finished19 July – 30 July
Nature was the muse — leaves, stones, flowers and patterns from the natural world pressed straight into rolled clay. A block all about texture and the outdoors.
Block 4 · Miniature Worlds
Starts 2 August2 August – 13 August
Tiny houses, mini gardens, and little characters. Kids build small-scale scenes by hand and learn how the smallest details bring a world to life.
Block 5 · Fantasy & Magic
Final block16 August – 27 August
Dragons, castles, wands, and mythical creatures. The last block of the summer — imaginations run wild as kids draw, sculpt and carve their own magical worlds in clay.
How It Works
Every block is hand-building only — no potter's wheel. Kids draw their design, then roll, pinch, press and carve it in clay, which suits small hands and gives them far more control over what they make. Sessions run mornings, 10 AM to 12 PM, over two weeks. Choose your batch by the days that suit you:
- Batch A — Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday (6 sessions / block): the complete experience across the two weeks. More time at the table, more pieces to take home.
- Batch B — Monday, Wednesday (4 sessions / block): a lighter rhythm — perfect for a relaxed summer pace.
- Drop-in — Single Session: join any one morning to try it out. Subject to availability.
All clay, glazes, tools and aprons are included. Every piece is bisque-fired, glazed, and final-fired in our studio, ready for collection a minimum of 2 weeks after each block ends.
